Metal Monster

In October 2013, I did a live photo shoot of Chicago based brutal death metal band Hate Storm Annihilation during their album release show at Cobra Lounge as part of Vic's Happy Hour. This was my first time shooting in such a dark space, and first time shooting a live event. The minimal lighting (there were two main lights- the pink and the blue seen) and because of the nature of the music, everything was moving very fast. It was a blast to shoot and these two photos exceeded my expectations from the night.
